Our 2025 Harvest is now sold out: bundles and loose buds.
Sadly for would be visitors, we are retired since opening the farm in 1986 and the farm no longer open to the public. It's your turn now to create a touch of Provence at your place. And if we can help from our experience~ contact Lynda by email.
Here are our tips for August:
It's late summer now and we are all parched around the edges from our unusually hot summer. If you can use a soaker hose on your rows of lavender or run your irrigation a little longer or more often for the end of August, it will help coping with any heat stress, as this is the time your trimmed Lavender plants set new foliage for next years extra blooms.
Wait until September if you have not given your Lavenders a good cut after bloom & harvest. Try not to do deeply trim in our current hot temperatures.
Mid to late September is a perfect time to replace any old, damaged or weary Lavenders. They will set roots over fall & winter and be eager to blooming next year.
